My handmade drop point knives are ideal multi-purpose knives for use in the field. These knives come in a range of sizes, are great for using on deer, fish, game, or larger animals, depending on the size, where you intend to hunt and personal preference.
3" DROP-POINT HUNTER
The 3" Drop-Point Hunter is the smallest hunting knife in my range.
This knife is designed for gralloching the two smaller species of deer we have in the UK and also ideal for rabbits, feather and fin. A small, very agile knife, easy to use in the cavity, which has proven its worth from end-to-end on medium-to-large-size deer.
4" DROP-POINT HUNTER
The 4" Drop-Point Hunter is the first gralloching knife I designed, the most proven, and is classed as the best all-round tool. Perfectly capable for use on any species of deer.
4.5" DROP-POINT HUNTER
The 4.5" Drop-Point Hunter is a slim down version with a shallow angle drop point designed initially for wild boar. This design has now been proven successfully on medium-to-large-size deer all over the UK and Ireland.
5" DROP-POINT HUNTER
The 5" Drop-Point Hunter is an extended version of the 4" designed for larger species of deer. This design has been proven as a durable tool for culling red, sika and fallow deer. Now many of my customers have used this design to great effect in Africa.
How much does a quality hunting knife cost?
The working tool range is the starting price for all of my knives. These come with G-10 handle scales and liners in many colours. All with matching hygienic Kydex sheaths with removable leather belt loop.
AEB-L stainless steel is used but carbon and Damascus options are available.
I have a range of wood and synthetic material for handle scales in stock, all supplied with a hygienic Kydex or full leather sheath. Any of the four sizes can be combined into a matching two knife set with the zipper in a double kydex sheath.

PIT PONY HANDLE PRICING
This handle design has been developed by experienced deer stalkers for deer stalkers. A tactile machined material, it has the perfect grip at every angle, and is highly visible against its surroundings with the glow-in-the-dark liners. You can power these up using the head torch before you start the gralloch. The Pit Pony is available in various colours.
